Isaiah 41:10 – Marking the Canvas for the Fancy Stitches

I will | Flickr – Photo Sharing!.

By doing the background first, I can even use a Sharpie to mark where the pattern goes right on the canvas through the letters.  The marks will be covered once the letters are stitched, and it helps a lot when following the pattern through the maze of the letters.  You can see how I used this marking technique to keep straight how the pattern flows through/around the I in this picture.

OK! Great offer. I would like to make something for a young girl who was given up for adoption, and then lost her adoptive mom to cancer. I am a cross-stitcher. How do we start?

    • Great! I’m so happy to have someone starting this journey with me!

I’ve made a separate post with your kickoff questions. Please share what you’re comfortable with on the blog, and use the feedback box for anything you don’t want publicly shared but are willing to share with me.

If there are more people out there who would like to join in, I meant this to be an offer for more than one prayer/craft partner. It’s not too late! The offer is still open. Come on in, the water’s fine!
