God doesn’t plant desires…

“God doesn’t plant desires within our hearts to let them wither and die. Yes, they may be dormant for a season. And yes, when they finally push through the ground, they may look nothing like what we anticipated— but they’re still possible.”

From my morning readings in “You’re Made for a God-Sized Dream”, by Holley Gerth.

It’s never too late for dreams.  And failures don’t have to be final.  Just remember to be open to how your dream may change.  Embrace the new growth.  After all, we change throughout our lives, so our dreams must too.

If you feel like your dreams are dead, ask for guidance.  Open your heart.  Something wonderful is there for us all if we will just be open to it.

Hebrews 13:5

Hebrews 13:5

Just finished this prayer piece which I began in June. It’s 11″x14″, stitched using metallic threads and black napped thread which looks like velvet.

Hebrews 13:5 Closeup

I hope this closeup shows the silver metallic threads embellishing the background canvas, and the metallic threads I used to stitch the design.
